L'Unicef e' stata fondata nel 1946 da Ludwik Rajchamn. (1)

Rajchman in diverse iniziative e' stato supportato dalla Rockefeller Foundation, come per esempio
nel 1918 quando ha fondato l'Istituto Statale di Igiene Polacco o negli anni 20 quando ha fondato il Centro Internazionale Servizio Epidemilogia per la salute pubblica (2)
